Brief:
The project`s genesis for “Nadi Collective” lay in the client`s desire for a serene and inviting living space that emphasized a preference for warm wood tones and exude a sense of calm, creating a
welcoming atmosphere. The client also sought to incorporate the captivating beauty of Indian
contemporary pieces, which would add a touch of cultural richness to the ambience.
Design:
To fulfil the client`s aspirations, the selection of furniture revolved around embracing the organic
allure of wood, opting for handcrafted pieces that showcased the unique character of each grain.
Layered textures were introduced through plush cushions, intricately woven throws and rugs,
adding depth and dimension to the spaces.
The focal point of the living room is a luxurious seating area, centered around a handcrafted wooden coffee table. The table`s smooth, rich surface showcases the natural beauty of the wood grain, enhanced by a deep, lustrous finish.
Around the coffee table are sumptuous sofas and armchairs with elegantly tapered legs upholstered in soft plush fabrics, exude a sense of refinement and artistry, epitomizing the essence of classic craftsmanship.
A harmonious blend of velvety textiles complements the warm wood ceiling. The seating pieces boast subtle decorative accents, such as intricate tufting and tailored piping with colorful and printed fabrics add a touch of grandeur.
Additionally, the focal point of the master bedroom design is the custom headboard, displaying intricate patterns inspired by traditional Indian motifs creating a striking centerpiece.
The carefully curated furniture pieces become a reflection of the rich cultural heritage, from ornate wooden consoles to elegantly carved seating. The amalgamation of Indian contemporary pieces adds depth and cultural richness resulting in a living space that radiates serenity exemplifying
warmth, beauty, and a seamless fusion of textures and fabrics.
